Shaping Future Creators
It was challenging but that’s what comes with competition. Mainly in my opinion, it was a great experience to practice speaking in front of an audience, in a way it was like an exhibition of our work.
FINALISTS PRESENTING IN TEAMS.
AppJamming Summit 2015 was an exciting event to participate in. It was amazing to see students engaged in the act of creating cool technological solutions, using some of the latest technologies. In addition, having the finalists present to a live audience introduced a high degree of challenge, and with it the chance to learn some meaningful skills and values. As a panel member it was an honour to be able to share some educational ideas and experiences with an audience of students, parents and fellow educators.

AJS 2014 was one of the best experiences I ever had over-seas and one that I will definitely never forget. I can still clearly remember interacting with a student attending MIT, and the teaching staff there too. They were one of the brightest, most open and friendly “strangers” I have met. If I had the chance to go back, I definitely would. In my opinion, it is a once in a lifetime experience.
FINALIST INTRODUCING WHERE THE IDEA CAME FROM.
I witnessed an unique sense of diversity unlike many orthodox competitions that I see revolving around things much like sports. In this App Jamming Summit I witnessed the widest array of contestant, some who are late teens, some who are folders, some who are musicians, and the list goes on happily ever after. What stood in common between each and every single one of them was the fact that they all too some extent had the a magnitude to be nerdy and geeky. Now thats why I enjoy App Jamming Summit because, it is where nerds and geeks become superstars.
